Having just read the guestbook for the first time I must agree with all the comments left, I have been boarding my dogs at ToIlgate good few years now,and on a few occasions that we have had to call Karen at short notice she has always been able to fit Benji & dori in, and I would like to add that if anyone is looking for superbly run ,clean and happy kennels look no further than TOLLGATE.

I agree with all the comments from all other existing customers. My bulldog Sidney is well looked after and always looks fit and well when we collect him. We have used the kennels on numerous occasions and would highly recommend them to anybody. Extremely clean and all other dogs boarding there the same time as Sidney seemed very content. Keep up the excellent work.
a big thakyou to karen and staff for looking after my gsd maddie for 2 weeks she was happy and healthy when i picked her up. i would recomend everyone to tollgate as they are the cleanest ,nicest kennls i ve seen in a long time with the bonus the dogs do get to go for walks
Having just collected our dog Sugar after a week in the kennels I feel I must write to say how much we appreciated the care taken by the staff here. We will definitely use them again.
We also really could not believe how nice she looked when we collected her and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your care.

Our three dogs, Mable, Jade and Homer have just spent the last 2 weeks with Karen and Ryan..We had a family emergency and Karen helped us out to accomodate the dogs at short notice...It was a huge weight off our minds to know that the dogs were being so well looked after..Homer had his nails cut and bedding was retuned clean and fresh without having to ask..Lovely surprises!..I know they had a great time as once home were out for the count!!..Throughly recommend Tollgate 100%...Many Thanks and see you again soon..Kind regards, Sarah and Hounds!!..
Going on holiday is always a great joy the only negative is leaving Sadi our
Staffordshire behind. We have used various kennels claiming to be luxury only to find when we have picked her up she has lost weight and/ or smells unpleasant.
Thankfully we found Tollgate kennels, Sadi has had her holidays with Karen and her team for many years now and we are always delighted to find Sadi has been cared for as we would, as a family member.
Tollgate Kennels has always exceeded our expectations, as Sadi does like her own treats and cuddles. We wouldnât hesitate in recommending Tollgate kennels!

Ben our black , 14 month old labrador , stayed for 15 days at Toll gate Kennels. This was his first ever time in kennels.
He has come home the same dog as he went, happy, fit and healthy. He has settled at home so quick, like he has never been away.
He obviously had a good holiday like we did!!!!.and i definitely recommend Tollgate kennels.
Toll gate kennels are very clean and look like a dogs holiday home!!! What also attracted me to these kennels is the daily walk Ben received around the field at the back of the kennels. Better than any of the other kennels i looked around.
Plus the staff i met were very kind and reassuring. Will definatley use again

These kennels are the best I have had contact with, they are so clean and Karen and the staff are all so kind helpful and professional I am more then happy to leave my two dogs in their care when we go away, when the dogs are collected they are clean , happy, and have very waggy tails. Best maintained kennels by far, kennels are clean and staff are friendly and very helpful :) . My dog came to Tollgate about 2 years ago now due to hearing horror stories about the kennels he used to go to. He always comes back just as happy as he went in, if not happier. would recommend to everyone! thanks

I put my dog in for a week at tollgate , on arrival kennels looked clean and staff were friendly,
we collected the dog a week later and the dog seemed very happy and content they had bathed the dog and feed her well, this is definetly 1 of the best if not the best kennels for dogs in northamptonshire, we will be using the kennels regualy fromm now on thanks again to tollgate.

Just a quick note to say a Huge Thankyou to Karen and staff for looking after our "Furry Children" while we were away. Unfortunately my husband and I had a death in the family and had to leave at a moments notice to fly home to South Africa. The staff at Tollgate Kennels couldn't have been more understanding and accomodating at this difficult time and I truely felt that our dogs were in the best care. When we picked them up, they seemed happy and content like they had never left home and cleaner than they have ever been before. I would definately recommend using them again aswell as to other people.

Never before have I experienced such clean kennels and such wonderful care shown to the dogs. My labrador came home totally relaxed and cleaner and far more groomed than when she went in'! I would give these kennels 5* and highly recommend them.

"Understanding Professional Owners How many times have you found your dogs are smelly or wet or look unkept and unhappy that you have left them upon collection. WELL THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STOPS. I have found Tolgate Kennels owner Karen and her work team very friendly, can-do-approach, no problem attitude, very caring for the in-mates and compound secure and safe. The kennels are scrupiously clean and hygenic. The in-mate sleeping area is off the floor and heating is available if its a chilly night. No pongie dogs or dirty dog beds when ready to be picked up. Dogs brushed, kept clean, well exercised and all equipment brought in accounted for upon collection. Lovely greeting upon arrival in/out. Dogs always look as good as they went in. No mud/dirt or smell. Karen and her oh yes Hubby certainly work hard with their team and are very professional knowledgeable couple. Highly recommend these kennels and have never experienced such high friendly Professionalism and cleanliness in any other kennels within Milton Keynes over the 37 years of living here and have experienced most as always had dogs in my life."
Website much better looks great. Ben has a wounderful time and is very much looked after. No sulky looks as I leave or strops when i return, he treats it just like a holiday too! You can't beat these kennels. Our GSD, Tazzi, has been staying at Tollgate from a pup and loves it! We always walk away after dropping her off feeling a little guilty, as you do. While Taz is having the time of her life! She's always well looked after, in clean and pleasant kennels, with caring staff and I'm sure looking forward to her stay later this year.

Karen, I have known you ever since you opened your kennels some 6 years ago and to my knowledge all I have ever heard is how clean your kennels are how competent your staff are and how extremely helpful and knowledgable you are in the the running and management of your kennels. This idiot who is making the complaints obviously believes that he does not have to comply with the terms and conditions of your Kennels which I may add are the best and most customer orientated that I have come across in my 40 years of owning and boarding dogs. I am sure that I speak for all your customers when I say keep up the good work, you are by far my number one choice when it comes to boarding my dogs.
There is always one bad apple in every bag, and the best thing to do is to remove it, forget it and get on with managing your wonderful kennels.
All the very best for the new year and I will definately be back boarding my dogs with you.

My puppy Staff Kilo, is just about too have his second time at tollgate and he loves it there, He also made a girlfriend last time he was there.....
I would say too anyone who is looking for kennels for there dogs or cats, bring them to Tollgate, great friendly staff and I am always certain my puppy will get looked after.

My two chocolate labradors recently had their first short stay at Tollgate and I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the premises and the politeness of the staff. I work at a local veterinary practice and will certainly recommend Tollgate to any of our clients looking for a boarding kennel. I will also be booking the labs in again, who incidently seemed to love it too.
I have been using these kennels for a number of years with my working dogs and have always found everything spot on,the dogs love visiting.
I would highly reccomend Tollgate Kennels .
First time visitors to your Kennel in October excellent so much so we are back at the end of Nov 07, very clean in fact exceptionally clean with very friendly staff .
No better kennels then Tollgate Kennels. Put all our dogs in there and they loved it, very clean and well looked after. Don't ever sell your beautiful kennels. We always recommend you.

Both our dogs have had holidays at tollgate and have always been happy to go and happy when we pick them up. Unfortunately Fudge passed away at home in February, but Fletcher has had holidays there since. In September Fletcher went to stay at Tollgate for his holidays but was not well when we took him in. We spoke to Karen and she placed him in one of the front kennels to keep an eye on him. Fletcher took a turn for the worst, but Karen looked after him, kept him close to her, cared and even cleaned him up as he struggled to get out of his bed.
We were still on holiday and so Karen carried out our wishes and contacted our son. We had to have Fletcher put to sleep. I have been to see Karen and all her staff to thank them for their love and care towards both Fudge and Fletcher They were all visibly upset.
We have and still do recommend Tollgate as Karen and all her staff love animals and its not just a job to them. So Thank You Karen and Team. xxx
